No One UI for 2018 smartphones

Samsung has confirmed to the editors of Tom's Guide that the One UI, the renewed Samsung interface for smartphones, not to the Samsung Galaxy S8 Samsung Galaxy S8 + and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come. As it now looks, only the owners of a Samsung Galaxy S9 Samsung Galaxy S9 + and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (plus unannounced devices later on) appear) the new interface that should make it easier to handle large screens.

With One UI, Samsung introduces a new and possibly also intuitive interface. The sleek and minimalistic design keeps the relevant content at the bottom of the screen, which is perfect for one-handed operation. The experience is designed so that you are not distracted and easily navigated. At least they are the promises of the company. It would of course be nice if older models could benefit from the new interface. Especially because smartphones have only grown in recent years.
