Rumors about the iPhones for 2019 were not yet real, so far. There have been renders of the prototype of the iPhone 11, as we now call the device for convenience. In addition, we have more information about the line-up of 2019 by a message from The Wall Street Journal.
The well-known good OnLeaks together with Digit.in received renders of a possible prototype of the 2019 iPhone. On the images we see a new camera module with three cameras that are slightly different from each other. According to OnLeaks, the renders are based on EVT, or engineering validation test. This is an early version in the development of the upcoming iPhone and it is therefore not yet certain that the 2019 version will really look like this.
Three new models for 2019
The Wall Street Journal let it be known that the line-up of Apple for 2019 will consist of three new models. It concerns the new high-end iPhone 11 and the possible iPhone 11 Max, both with OLED screens, and a successor to the iPhone XR with LCD screen. The high-end models get a camera module with three cameras, while the successor to the XR will get a double camera system. According to the publication, Apple will fully focus on the camera capabilities of the new models.
